I am Jacinta.
I love nature, art, dancing, camping, fancy dress, fixing things, treasure hunts, science and dystopian fiction, hiking, escape rooms, saunas, pondering the universe.
But most of all I love life and this big beautiful planet that grew me.
I studied fine art because I wanted to create things that make people happy. I studied psychology because I realised that I didn’t know what makes people happy. I still don’t, but I know there is definitely something about being connected with each other and with nature that is important. I am still learning about it, hopefully I always will be.
In my work I am also interested in the inter-connectivity of all things; mortality; hidden beauty; silliness and play as vital human pursuits; bodily intelligence and somatic experience; and female power and energy.
